The Ask Laguna mobile app is a free smartphone application available for Apple and Android devices that allows users to submit service requests to the City for issues such as graffiti, broken parking meters, and potholes with just the touch of a button. The service request is then automatically sent to the respective City Department for review.
“The Ask Laguna app is an easy-to-use enhancement of the existing website version of Ask Laguna, and is another way for the City to be responsive to citizens and make it easy for them to communicate issues to the City,” said City Manager John Pietig. “We are pleased to deliver this tool to the community.”
Ask Laguna users who create an account in the app are instantly notified when the City receives their submission and also when the issue has been resolved. Users also have the option to submit issues anonymously.
“The Ask Laguna app uses GPS technology to geolocate the problem, simplifying the reporting process for users while increasing the reliability of the report location for City crews,” said Gavin Curran, Director of Administrative Services.
Ask Laguna is available for free download on all iPhone and Android devices. Simply search Ask Laguna on the App Store or GooglePlay. Residents can also report service requests through the Ask Laguna Website.
The Ask Laguna app is not intended for use in reporting emergency situations or crimes in progress. If you have an emergency, always dial 9-1-1.
