On April 16th, the Laguna Beach City Council reached a majority vote regarding the new patrol car graphic. The vote, 4-1, was in favor of keeping the patriotic logo.
The issue of the new red, white, and blue graphics drew big debate among some Laguna Beach residents and visitors.
During the meeting, the city council had a packed house of residents wanting to speak their minds. Many of those in attendance were American Veterans.
The City Council also selected the service statement,
Serving Our Community With Pride and Integrity.
